HEAD REFEREE/FOX VALLEY REPRESENTATIVE
- Organize a team of Licensed Referees for which you are responsible
- Hold a referee clinic and distribute handbooks and/or literature with WAYSC guidelines and expectations before the start of the season
- Hold a licensing/refresher course once a year
- Assign referees as needed at all games
- Fill in at games, when possible, when a referee does not show up
- Distribute a referee schedule with names and phone numbers of each referee to all directors and coaches
- Distribute and collect all referee cards so an accurate record of hours can be maintained for the end of the year Honorarium
- Gather WAYSC coaches information and necessary field maps for distribution at the Fox Valley Meeting
- Gather information from the registrar on the number of teams at each age group that will be playing within the Fox Valley League
- Attend Fox Valley meetings to acquire necessary documentation for WAYSC schedules, coaches' list, game schedules, maps, etc. Be prepared to voice the concerns of WAYSC with the Fox Valley League
- Give the outdoor coordinators and Vice President the appropriate number of coaches' lists, game schedules and maps so they can update the coach and directors manuals before the start of the season.
- Post the above information on the club's website
- Establish a cordial relationship with other Fox Valley Representatives to ease communications between the Fox Valley Community
- Any disciplinary action the board deems necessary (written warning, suspension, expulsion, etc) to impose on any referee will be your responsibility
- Attend all board meetings
